How does Carronite Work?

Carronite is applied to a Carron bath to give it more stability.

What is Carronite?
Why Choose Carronite?

Carronite is an advanced reinforcement applied to Carron acrylic baths, developed and patented by Carron Bathrooms. A Carron Bath reinforced with Carronite is capable of withstanding far greater stresses than a conventional acrylic bath.

After a bath has been reinforced with Carronite, it has a strength and rigidity normally associated with a cast iron or heavy gauge steel bath, while enjoying all the benefits in the finish, design and ease of care of modern acrylic baths.

Why Choose Carronite?
Why choose Carronite?

*Carronite baths are twice as strong as standard acrylic baths.

*The water in a Carronite bath stays warmer for longer and are upto 25% more slip resistant than in a steel enamelled or cast iron bath.

*The baths have a cradle system, which is unique to Carronite, that is designed to cope with the additional weight of the Carronite material. When the bath is installed its rigidity and stability prevent movement, thus offering the perfect solution to the problem of sealing.
